"The Franciscan International Study Centre in Canterbury, established in 1973, which served the Franciscan community and beyond for almost fifty years, sadly closed its doors in 2017. With that closure obtaining Franciscan books and media in the UK became considerably more difficult. The Franciscan Publishing Company has been established in order to address that gap and aims to bring you books covering a broad spectrum of Franciscan theology and spirituality, including children’s books. It is our hope that you will find something here to interest you and that the mustard seed of this initiative will grow to provide for a readership on these shores and beyond."
